Over Sangiovese

This Saturday, April 20, we'll be opening 3 bottles from Italy's most widespread grape variety (but also present elsewhere): Sangiovese.
Sangiovese usually produces powerful red wines with aromas of black cherry, plum and dried grass, combined with good acidity.

On the menu, 3 very different wines, but all from Sangiovese:

  • Terravignata - Marche Rosso IGT - Italy.  Notes of violets and red berries with a hint of herbs and spices

  • Domaine Escorihuela Gascon - Sangiovese - Argentina (Mendoza)  - 100% Sangiovese with notes of ripe red fruit and spices, aged in oak barrels.

  • Azienda Casale Daviddi - Chianti Colli Senesi - Italy- Notes of fresh cherry and violet, with well-balanced tannins that give structure to the whole!

See you on saturday ?

Cheers,

Ceci n'est pas un rosé
